ALL PROGRESSIVE CONGRESS (APC) CANDIDATE GOVERNOR ROTIMI AKEREDOLU HAS BEEN DECLARED WINNER IN ONDO STATE FOR THE SECOND TERM
The
result was declared by the resident electoral commissioner of the Independent National Electoral
Commission of the Ondo State on Sunday 11, October 2020. So therefore the governor
will be returning to rule for his second term after winning the first Ondo State
election in 2016 when he first became the governor of the Ondo State.
The
principal candidate for this Ondo State governorship election in Ondo State are
Rotimi Akeredolu of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and Eyitayo Jegede of
the People Democratic Party (PDP) and the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP).
The
election took place in 18 local government areas in the state. And a total of
17 political parties took part in the election but it looks like the election
was only contended by the three principal parties All progressive congress (APC),
People Democratic Party (PDP) and the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP)
