Governors Charge for misappropriation of State Funds Since 1999.
Some past Governor who embezzled, looted, laundered and misappropriated State government fund since Nigeria turned to democracy since 1999.
The governors numbering 58 have embezzled, looted and laundered to the tune of N2.187 trillion since Nigeria return to democracy.
According to the Economic and Financial Crime Commission this said money does not involve the properties seized around the world.
Out of the 58 governors that have case of misappropriation of public fund only four have been convicted which includes Joshua Dariye of Plateau, late DSP Alamieyeseigha of Bayelsa, Chief Lucky Igbinedion of Edo State, and Jolly Nyame of Taraba.
