Yesterday, the Federal Government defended the SAMOA Agreement by insisting that it was signed in Nigeria’s interest.
Nigeria signed the Samoa Agreement on June 28, 2024 at the Secretariat of OACP in Brussels, Belgium, according to a statement made by Mohammed Idris, Minister of Information and National Orientation.

All 27 EU member states and 47 of the 79 OACPS member state countries signed the agreement on November 15, 2018, in Apia, Samoa.
