Federal Government Defended The SAMOA Agreement Insisting It Was Signed In Nigeria’s interest.

Yesterday, the Federal Government defended the SAMOA Agreement by insisting that it was signed in Nigeria’s interest.
Nigeria signed the Samoa Agreement on June 28, 2024 at the Secretariat of OACP in Brussels, Belgium, according to a statement made by Mohammed Idris, Minister of Information and National Orientation.
“The partnership agreement is established between the EU and its member states and OACPS member countries.
At the 73rd United Nation General Assembly, negotiations on the agreement began 
All 27 EU member states and 47 of the 79 OACPS member state countries signed the agreement on November 15, 2018, in Apia, Samoa.
