House Of Representative Urged (FCCPC) to Take Action Against Unfair Trade Practices By Foreign Companies Operating In Nigeria

Yesterday, the House of Representatives urged the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) to take immediate action against unfair trade practices by certain foreign companies operating in Nigeria against Air Peace, Dangote and other companies.

Furthermore, it directed the Aviation, Trade and Petroleum (Upstream and Downstream) Committee to scrutinize the circumstances surrounding the alleged predatory pricing and unethical competitive behavior of foreign airlines and IOCs.

Babajimi Benson introduced a motion at the House of Representatives plenary in Abuja, which resulted in the resolution.
