At a few nonviolent rallies near Eagle Square's perimeter in the Three Arms Zone of Abuja on Thursday, fully armed Nigerian police officers and men opened fire with tear gas canisters. The National Assembly, the Supreme Court, the Presidential Villa, the Federal Secretariat, and the Head of Service are all housed in the Three Arms Zone, which is also home to Eagle Square.
