The Federal Government As Banned Money Rituals, Crime And Smoking From Films

The Federal Government as banned money rituals, rituals killing, smoking, crimes and other vices from Nollywood through a subsidiary legislation since it is not well spelt out in the extant law.

The Executive Director and CEO National Film and Videos Censor Board  Shaibu Husseini, disclosed it in a National Stakeholders Engagement on Smoke Free Nollywood held in Enugu.

The event was attended by movie producers, actors, directors, and leader of guilds from different parts of the country was present.

According to him beside the health implications, smoking poses a negative influence on the teens and young adults of the country who consume this movies.
