Federal Government Received 103 Nigerians Expelled from Turkey Due to Migration Issues

The Federal Government has taken in as many as 103 Nigerians who were expelled from Turkey due to migration issues, such as visa expiration and illegal immigration.
 On Friday night, Alhaji Tijani Ahmed, the Federal Commissioner for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI), made a statement while profiling the deportee in Abuja.
 According to Ambassador Catherine Udida, who was representing the Commission's Director of Migration Affairs, Ahmed reported that the commission had anticipated 110 deported individuals, but only received 103 men.
 “Some of them have been in detention centres for months but now that they have come here, we want to investigate all the charges collected during our profiling of them.
 Our profile check will be conducted as some of them have reported that their passports have been confiscated
 He stated that the Federal Republic of Nigeria still own their passports, and we will investigate with the Turkish authorities. The issue is ongoing.
