Idea of Acquiring Two More Planes For The Presidential Air Fleet (PAF) Has Generated Mixed Reactions

Although the idea of acquiring two more planes for the Presidential Air Fleet (PAF) has generated mixed reactions, investigations have shown that the Federal Government spent an astonishing 214 billion naira on the aircraft from 1999 to this day.
Documents obtained  indicate that the amount is a total sum of money spent on the fleet by Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo, Umaru Musa Yarna Adua, Goodluck Jonathan, Muhammadu Buhari, and Bola Tinubu since the establishment of the Fourth Republic.
According to critics, the projected amount cast doubt on government priorities, given that education and health are among the country' s most urgent needs.
The PAF's 214 billion naira is a significant component of the Federal Government budget, which has been under scrutiny due to concerns about the operating and maintenance expenses of their fleet.
The country is facing economic difficulties and financial difficulties, which is why the government's decision to focus on the fleet is causing controversy.
