The police's failure to comply with the order to remove Aminu Ado Bayero, deposed Emir of Kano, has been elucidated by CP Usaini Gumel. This statement was made public on Wednesday.
On Thursday night, Yusuf instructed the CP to remove the dethroned Emir of Kano from Nasarawa Mini Palace, where he is currently staying, through Haruna Dederi, the Attorney General and Justice Commissioner in the state.
Gumel stated in an interview with Punch on Friday that complying with the governor's eviction order would be considered "jumping the gun"
