Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger's Military Leaders Signed a Treaty to Create Another Union

On Saturday, Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger's military leaders signed a treaty to create another "union," breaking off ties with current West African nations, during their inaugural summit in Niamey.
In a statement released after the summit on Saturday, the leaders of the three countries that had recently taken control by coups, decided to pursue greater integration among their member states and signed Accords of Association  creating confederation.
